Since its establishment, the company has always attached great importance to environmental protection work, and has established and improved a three-level environmental protection management system composed of company leaders, workshops (departments), and teams in accordance with national environmental protection regulations, technical specifications, technical standards, and systems. The company has established an environmental management team under the leadership of the top leader, serving as the company's environmental management supervisory department responsible for inspecting and supervising environmental management.

Jinhua Branch to conduct regular monitoring of the company's emissions of exhaust gas, wastewater, noise, etc. The results of the 2022 monitoring report show that the company's exhaust gas, wastewater, noise, and other emissions meet the standards.
The company entrusts Lanxi Xinda Environmental Protection Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. to conduct online monitoring of the total discharge outlet of the company's sewage station. The online monitoring results in 2022 show that all the total discharge outlets of the company's sewage stations meet the discharge standards.
4、 Realize synchronous operation of environmental protection equipment and facilities with production equipment
The company's environmental protection equipment and facilities are operating normally, and no major abnormalities in environmental protection equipment and facilities were found during various inspections by the company's internal and higher-level environmental supervision departments. The synchronous operation rate of various environmental protection equipment and facilities with production equipment is 100%.

The company strictly implements all environmental protection measures and has not experienced any major environmental pollution incidents, sudden environmental incidents, public environmental complaints, environmental disputes, or any form of environmental related administrative penalties.
6、 Other environmental protection situations of the company
The company adheres to the principle of equal emphasis on production development and environmental protection, strictly abides by relevant environmental laws and regulations such as the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, the Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, the Noise Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, the Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China, and various local laws and regulations.
（1） Environmental Impact Assessment and Implementation of the "Three Simultaneities" System
Since its establishment, the company has strictly followed the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People's Republic of China to conduct environmental impact assessments for construction projects. Environmental protection design plans are strictly implemented during project implementation, and all construction projects comply with relevant national regulations to achieve the "three simultaneities" system of simultaneous design, construction, and production of environmental protection facilities and main projects.
In July 2019, the latest environmental impact assessment of the company's technological transformation project, "Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Zhejiang Jester Electric Co., Ltd.'s Annual Production of 3 million KVAh Various Lead Acid Batteries and 4 million Sets of Battery Housing Technological Transformation Project", was approved by the Jinhua Ecological Environment Bureau (Jinhua Jianlan [2019] No. 21). In November 2019, the environmental protection acceptance of the technological transformation project was completed.
（2） Legal treatment and disposal of general industrial solid waste and hazardous waste
The general solid waste such as discarded cardboard boxes and household garbage generated during the company's production process are collected and processed by Zhejiang Jimei Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. The safe disposal rate of general solid waste reaches 100%.
The company signs agreements with qualified units for the safe disposal of hazardous waste such as lead slag, lead mud, waste electrode plates, waste labor protection, and waste batteries during the production process. The five link list system is strictly implemented during the transfer process, and hazardous waste declaration and registration are implemented. The company is subject to supervision by environmental protection departments in both places, and the safe disposal rate of hazardous waste reaches 100%.
（3） Payment status of pollutant discharge fees
The company implements the pollutant discharge permit system, obtains pollutant discharge permits in accordance with regulations, makes pollutant discharge declarations as required, timely and fully pays pollutant discharge fees according to the notice of pollutant discharge fees issued by the environmental protection department, and fulfills the social responsibilities of the enterprise itself.
On December 23, 222, the company obtained the pollutant discharge permit issued by Lanxi Branch of Jinhua Ecological Environment Bureau, with certificate number 913307817477319284001W.
（4） Monitoring of Soil and Groundwater
The company has commissioned Zhejiang Huapu Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. Jinhua Branch to monitor soil and groundwater in accordance with the requirements of the pollutant discharge permit, environmental impact assessment, and local ecological environment management department. The groundwater complies with the Class III standard in the "Groundwater Quality" (GB/T14848-2017), and the soil complies with the relevant standards in the "Soil Environment Quality Construction Land Soil Pollution Risk Control Standards (Trial)" (GB36600-2018). The monitoring results meet the standards.
（5） Implementation of Clean Production
According to the Clean Production Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China, with a responsible attitude towards society, the company closely integrates the concept of clean production with production, management, and operation, and conducts clean production audits and energy audits as required. Integrating clean production work, pollution reduction, and energy auditing into the daily management track of the enterprise, through clean production auditing, the energy consumption, material consumption, and pollutant emissions of the enterprise have been effectively reduced, effectively improving the labor production efficiency of the enterprise, reducing production costs, and achieving the unity of environmental, economic, and social benefits. At present, the company has carried out three rounds of clean production work. The first round was carried out in 2009, the second round was carried out in 2011, and the third round of clean production work was approved at the end of 2014. The fourth round of clean production audit was passed in December 2016, and the fifth round of clean production audit was passed in December 2018
In November 2020, the sixth round of clean production of the company was submitted for review and passed the expert review and acceptance in January 2021. The review results meet the Level II level (advanced level of domestic clean production) of the "Evaluation System for Clean Production Indicators in the Battery Industry" (National Development and Reform Commission Announcement No. 36 of 2015).
（7） Establishment and operation of the management system for sudden environmental incidents
The company has developed an "Emergency Plan for Sudden Environmental Incidents" based on the storage and stacking of raw materials, production processes, pollution production links, and other environmental risks, combined with the actual situation of the company. An emergency team has been established to implement emergency measures, set up emergency accident pools, and conduct emergency drills to achieve full control from the source to the end, in order to prevent environmental pollution accidents and reduce environmental risks. On January 7, 2020, the company's "Emergency Plan for Sudden Environmental Incidents" was filed with the Lanxi Environmental Emergency and Accident Investigation Center.
In 2022, the company strictly follows the requirements of laws and regulations and the company's "Emergency Plan for Sudden Environmental Incidents", implements various emergency management systems, reserves emergency management materials, provides environmental emergency training to all employees, and conducts emergency plan drills for fire protection, sulfuric acid leakage, lead slag leakage, and other emergencies.
In 2022, the company did not experience any sudden environmental incidents.
